UCLA Faculty Forward Initiative
UCLA is proud to announce the Faculty Forward Initiative (FFI) — a campuswide effort focusing on the recruitment and retention of faculty committed to scholarship, research, mentorship and education related to those who have traditionally been underrepresented in academia.
Please find more information and additional resources on the Faculty Forward Initiative below.
The Faculty Forward Initiative is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia by supporting the recruitment, retention, and advancement of faculty members from underrepresented communities. Our mission is to create an environment where all faculty members can thrive in their careers and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
We envision a future where all faculty members have equal access to academic resources and opportunities for professional growth. By removing systematic barriers faced by faculty members from marginalized communities, we aim to create a more diverse and inclusive academic community that reflects the richness of human experience. Join us in our mission to make academia a more equitable and just place for all.
