In March 2017, Chancellor Block took the initiative of creating an advisory council to assess the impact of rapidly changing immigration policies on our campus. Here is a summary of the Council’s efforts and results during the short period from March 17 to June 15, 2017.
We will soon be soliciting applications for between 3-5 vacant positions on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Student Advisory Board for the 2017-2018 academic year. All undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are eligible to serve on the Board. To ensure adequate representation, we particularly encourage applications from graduate and professional students. We’re committed to ensuring the SAB represents the full diversity of the UCLA student body.
