Most official University data on UCLA students, including enrollments, are governed by the UCLA Registrar’s Office Student Data Access Policy. Campus entities that use and report student data, do so under the terms and conditions set forth by the Registrar’s Office. OEDI Student Enrollment Dashboards comply with these terms and conditions.

Per the Student Data Access Policy, student records are not provided to the public. University staff may request student record data for business purposes by submitting a Registrar’s Service Request (RSR).

OEDI Student Enrollment Dashboards

OEDI is in the process of updating undergraduate and graduate student enrollment dashboards for fall terms 2012-2022. These dashboards will show student enrollment counts for each school/division by sex, race/ethnicity, first-generation status (UG only), and Pell grant recipient status (UG only).

Other Resources

There are a number of other sources for UCLA student enrollment data, including the Academic Planning and Budget Office’s Campus Statistics. However, the resources cited below were curated to include only public data that are viewable by demographic characteristics.

UCLA Graduate Education

UCLA Graduate Education provides an Enrollment: Annual Snapshot dashboard of graduate program enrollments by registration status, degree objective, field, gender, and race/ethnicity for falls 1988 – 2021.

UCOP Information Center

The University of California Office of the President (UCOP) Information Center provides a large number of data dashboards on students, much of them allowing for breakouts by demographic characteristics. We’ve highlighted some of their student enrollment dashboards below. Although data may be filtered for the UCLA campus, note that UCOP reports by UC discipline (a systemwide classification) and not by UCLA schools/divisions or departments.
