How do our diverse identities and backgrounds shape our life experiences? In concert with the Student EDI Advisory Council, the UCLA Anderson Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is launching its latest speaker series: “What’s Going On” (WGO). Throughout each year, WGO will offer a safe space for the Anderson community and distinguished guests to engage in open and honest dialogue on the social issues that greatly impact the educational experience. With contributions from a variety of Anderson campus groups and centers, each discussion will be co-organized by a different subset of Student EDI Advisory Council members, reflecting their joint perspective on the year’s shared theme. During its inaugural year, the series will explore the nature and impact of the Black experience in our global society.
