According to the Chronicle of Higher Education analysis of U.S. Department of Education data for Fall 2015, UCLA had most diverse hiring among tenure-track faculty among 60 Association of American Universities (AAU) member schools. UCLA hired 31 new tenure-track faculty, comprised of 45% women and 50% underrepresented minorities.
