Dear Colleagues:

I am pleased to announce the launch of our new website “Supporting Nursing Mothers at UCLA” hosted on the Campus Human Resources (CHR) portal. The site features information pertinent to nursing mothers, including personnel policies, benefits, forms, campus and community resources, frequently asked questions, and the most current campus lactation map. The site will be updated regularly and more robust features will be added as resources become available.

The new site is an outgrowth of the dedication and commitment of the Bruin Lactation Coalition, which is focused on improving the lactation environment for faculty, staff, and students. This is the first step in an ongoing process of ensuring that nursing mothers have the resources they need from the University.

While the site is housed on the CHR portal, we are encouraging other UCLA departments and organizations to post the link on their sites so users across campus can easily find it.
