Campuswide review period open on new UCLA Policy 240: Investigating Allegations of Student Conduct that Negatively Impacts Campus Climate

The draft of a new UCLA policy, available via the following link (PDF), is now open for campuswide comment.  The new policy governs the procedure for determining when the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion exercises its authority to investigate claims that normally fall within the authority of a different University unit.  Comments on proposed draft Policy 240 are due by August 15, 2016.

Development of Policy 240 has been shaped by discussion from key campus groups, including the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of the Dean of Students, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Relations, and the Office of Legal Affairs.
