There are no words to describe the recent acts of horrific and racially-motivated violence in our country. As we mourn the tragic deaths of Daunte Wright, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless other innocent, unnamed African American lives, we find ourselves asking: What can we do? How can we help? And how can we take action?

To help us heal, to help us learn, and to help us process and take action together, we have put together this page for the UCLA community. This resource hub will point you to reflection spaces, heartfelt statements from campus leadership, advocacy work, and relevant literature from UCLA and across the web. We realize there are no easy answers here. But we hope this can at least be a starting point — as we all work together towards possible solutions and genuine reform.

We will update this page as new content becomes available. If you know of a valuable resource that we have overlooked, please let us know at WeListen@equity.ucla.edu.
